Terms of service

Last updated August 28, 2026

These terms govern use of the hosted API at disclosures.dev ("the Service"), operated by Carrotly Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202212557Z), 160 Robinson Road, #14-04 Singapore Business Federation Center, Singapore 068914 ("Carrotly"). Using the Service with an API key we issued means you accept them. The underlying software is separately available under the Apache-2.0 license; these terms cover the hosted service only.

The service

The Service relays and transforms public corporate-disclosure data from official registers over the Model Context Protocol. Coverage, per-jurisdiction scope, and known limitations are documented at /coverage and may change as upstream registers change.

API keys and fair use

  • Keys are per-tenant; keep them secret and do not share them across organizations. You are responsible for calls made with your key.
  • Plans carry weighted rate limits, enforced in-protocol. Systematic circumvention (key cycling, distributed evasion) is a breach.
  • We may suspend or revoke keys for breach, abuse of upstream registers, or security need — with notice where practicable.

Data and attribution

  • Answers link to their source documents. The registers, not we, are authoritative; verify against the linked filing before relying on any fact.
  • Upstream registers impose their own terms (for example HKEXnews copyright and SEC fair-access rules). You must not use the Service to violate them.
  • Absence of a filing is not proof of absence. The Service reports what registers publish, including their gaps.

Warranty and liability

The Service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or availability. It is not investment, legal, or compliance advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim (or SGD 100 if you paid none). Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination and changes

You may stop using the Service at any time and request key deletion. We may amend these terms by updating this page and its last-updated date, with direct notice to affected key holders for material changes; continued use after the effective date is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes go to the courts of Singapore.
